Earthly Pleasures Cafe is an ethically focused, vibrant cafe found in an historic building tucked away in the leafy surrounds of Belgrave. A stalwart of the area, Earthly Pleasures Cafe doubles as a friendly breakfast and lunch spot by day, and an exclusive function venue by night, making full use of its picturesque surrounds, outdoor terraces and gardens. This beautiful old stone building was built in 1930 by the Jorgensen family, famous also for later building Montsalvat in Eltham. If the walls of the cafe could talk, they’d most likely speak of bohemian parties starring the beatnik artistic community of Melbourne in the 1950s. Nowadays though, it’s more about ethically sourced produce and small batch roasted artisan coffee. E.P has built its reputation on cooking from scratch, everything from chutneys, pesto’s and homemade cakes impressing locals and drawing the inner city crowd to the hills. Earthly Pleasures Cafe is situated along the continuation of Burwood Highway, after it leaves the busy lanes behind and becomes Main Street, Belgrave. It’s just near Belgrave and Puffing Billy Railway station, and is found about 45 minutes’ drive east of Melbourne.

Earthly Pleasures Café captures the essence of the hills café culture, picturesque setting and delicious inventive menu. Competing with Melbourne's highest standards of coffee and showcasing local craft beers and excellent Victorian wines
